Transport conditions

Deliveries are made throughout Italy with trucks or trucks depending on the size of the pallets which varies according to the chosen model.
The customer will be contacted directly by the courier with whom the delivery date will be agreed.
The delivery address provided must allow the transit, access and parking of a large vehicle.
Delivery is by truck, unloading can be done by hand or mechanically.

Da sapere prima di scegliere una cuccia

In linea di massima, la cuccia, dovrebbe essere larga e alta i 4/3 dell’altezza al garrese, mentre la lunghezza circa il doppio dell’altezza del cane.

La taglia del cane non è comunque l’unico fattore che condiziona le dimensioni. Nelle zone a clima più freddo, sarà opportuno prevedere una cuccia di dimensioni più contenute, per evitare l’eccessiva dispersione del calore. Si consideri poi che i cani, quando fa freddo, dormono raggomitolati. Col caldo, invece amano distendersi.

Molti cani (generalmente i più leggeri e agili) amano salire sul tetto della cuccia e vigilare da una posizione sopraelevata. Per assecondare questo loro istinto è preferibile un tetto poco pendente.

La cuccia deve essere sollevata da terra per protezione contro l’umidità. Va posta in un angolo riparato, in modo che l’apertura non sia esposta alle correnti d’aria. I cani più vigilanti, però, hanno anche l’esigenza di poter controllare l’ingresso della casa e le zone di maggior interesse anche dall’interno della cuccia, altrimenti non vi entrano. Quindi, si scelga la soluzione ideale anche in considerazione dell’indole del cane.

È importante anche che la verniciatura, con la quale il cane è spesso direttamente a contatto, sia effettuata con vernici atossiche (a base d’acqua).

L’ampiezza dell’entrata andrà valutata in relazione alla tipologia e all’indole del cane. Alcuni cani mostrano di preferire entrate molto ampie, che permettono di avere una visuale completa anche stando in piedi nella cuccia. Sono soprattutto i cani da pastore e i cani da guardia che si alzano in piedi alla sola percezione di presenze estranee. Con cani di questo genere, è consigliabile avere cucce che prevedono un’entrata addirittura grande quanto la facciata della cuccia stessa (tant’è che generalmente non soffrono il freddo). In tutti gli altri casi è meglio che l’entrata sia piccola, appena sufficiente per permettere un ingresso agevole del cane e posizionata su un lato, in modo da creare una zona più riparata dove il cane può ritirarsi.
